Diane, owner, instructor and manager of Flying Change Farm has an extensive background in the Equine industry. Growing up on her family farm, she was active in 4-H, pony club and was an avid competitor in Eventing. After graduating with a degree in Equine Studies, her passion for teaching blossomed at her family farm and in 1991 moved the business to the current location on Airport Road in Accord.
Patrick married into the horse industry and grew to love horses. He wears many hats at the farm, including grounds keeper (the gardens are AMAZING), MR. fix-it, his Technical Engineering degree comes in very handy solving lots of problem solving on a farm from A-Z! He loves to get a bareback ride in when a horse isn't busy in lessons!
Samantha started riding at Flying Change Farm when she was 9. She showed lesson horse Billy at numerous local horse shows. Sam started as CIT at summer camps and before long became Diane's number one assistant at the farm.
22 year old mare, she is the backbone of the farm. We rescued her from Camelot Auction and as soon as we met her gave her the name Guinevere, so fitting for her horsenality. She lets you know what she knows the moment you meet her!
Coco is our senior resident. He is a rescue and was handled roughly at an earlier stage of his life. This very dedicated pony is so kind and responsive to a gentle hand. He certainly shares his own story just looking into his eyes.
Ben joined our program July 2022. His horsenality is a loveley addition to our heard. He is big and gentle. He welcomes guidance in a kind way and is very rewarding to work with, especially if you allow time for snuggles.
This fun little appaloosa large pony is always eager to please. He borrows confidence from his handler. Mickey is very attentive and a quick learner. He is very rewarding to work with.
